Naturpark Beverin - Our mountain inn lies in the Beverin Nature Park above Thusis, in the holiday corner of Switzerland. Valleys to the north and south of the Alps. Rivers that flow in all directions.
viaCapricorn is a mountain hike that leads through the natural habitat of the Alpine ibex. Per stage, experienced mountaineers need to plan around 6 to 8 hours.
Die Runde kann entweder von Obergmeind oder vom Glaspass gestartet werden. Im Berggasthaus Beverin auf dem Glaspass lädt die Sonnenterasse zum Geniessen ein. In Obergmeind bei der Skiliftmittelstation gibt es Restaurants und eine Bar.
Wandern in winterlicher Landschaft ist ein ganz besonderer Genuss. Die beschilderten und signalisierten Wege führen teils von Dorf zu Dorf, teils als Rundwanderungen durch stille Landschaften oder zu einmaligen Aussichtspunkten.

The viaCapricorn leads in 3 stages across the area of the Safien-Rheinwald ibex colony. On the 1st day you walk through beautiful alpine meadows, past Piz Beverin and the turquoise Schottensee. If you are lucky you will see the ibexes!
The viaCapricorn leads across the area of the Safien-Rheinwald ibex colony. On the 2nd you walk through Safiental, which is characterised by the Walser culture. You will find barns burned brown by the sun, solitary located hamlets and tranquility.

Diese Wanderung führt Sie entlang der ehemals wichtigsten Verbindung aus und ins Safiental. Steil hinauf auf den Glaspass und danach sanft hinunter nach Thusis.
A long ascent leads over the Glaspass into the Safiental. Among bikers the trail is known to be as demanding as it is legendary. The old mule trail twists down almost vertically, sometimes between bands of rock, to tiny Safien Platz.
The Glaspass adventure trail gives young and old an insight into the unique geology of the landscape and provides information about the settlement of the Walser people.
